The newest member of the fleet, Mercy Bird

Meet Mercy Bird, our mission hauler.

Mercy is a 1966 Mooney M-20F. We recently acquired her from some very good friends of Wings for Christ, who had been lending her to us for many years. Currently she has a major makeover in process, with overhauled cylinders, oil cooler, oil filter assembly, engine monitoring instrument, prop governor and fuel injection assembly.

Once all that work is complete, we will use Mercy for long haul missions work and to help our students earn their complex endorsements (FAR Part 61.31).
