Second Saturday Work Days

Can you swing a hammer, brandish a brush, push a mower or turn a wrench?

Of course you can!

Come out to the airport on the second Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. till noon (Although we often stay longer because we are having so much fun!).

It takes a lot of work to maintain an airport, so we get together once a month to get things done and have some great fellowship at the same time. Recent projects have included painting in the maintenance hangar, runway marking improvements and refurbishing of an old hangar.

All of these projects are ongoing and we need you there to help! There are always planes that need to be washed and you may even be able to work on some of them, under the supervision of a certified aviation mechanic.

And don’t forget the old airport tradition:
The best way to get a ride in an airplane is to help work on one!
