N3988U ("Gracie Bird")

Operations
James Cooper is the N3988U chief. It's his airplane and he needs to know every detail of what's going on with it. Joel New is the maintenance director and needs to know about any squawks.

N3988U reservation schedule is here. Flight students and their instructors should already have it.

This aircraft costs $30 per hour wet for non-students flying the aircraft for proficiency or WFC official business purposes. Send the money to Steve Sappington. Make checks to Wings For Christ, Inc. Refuel the plane from the blue tanks in the hangar per the ground ops training class instructions.

History
Gracie Bird is a 1965 Cessna 150E which has been in the Wings For Christ family for a long time. She has some recent restoration work including a new paint job. Thanks to Buddy Miller and his crew at Trim-Aire Aviation in Mexia for a great job on the restoration. Click on the links below for some pictures.

Needs
We're always in need of donated avionics and instruments. If you can donate anything, or know someone who can, please contact us. Even if they're not working, we have avionics people who can probably fix them.
